Beginning my Veterinary career in my home town of Victoria, I moved to Mackay in the late 1980’s and was lucky enough to continue my career with Mackay Veterinary Clinic.
I have been with the Mackay Veterinary Clinic on and off for 35yrs, l did take some personal time away but was lucky enough to be welcomed back to my work family. I have done some travelling over the years, the call of the wild saw me adventure to Canada and Alaska. But the biggest adventure was exchanging scrubs for something a bit warmer when l ventured down to Antarctica, walking among penguins and watching whales feeding. It was truly something to behold. I look forward to more wildlife adventures but mainly continuing working in an industry which is so rewarding.
